Eggies: where flies lay their eggs. This is the term the industry uses and I've been making these bad boys this morning.

A lot of people ask me if I know what I am doing in this new world of farming insects. Truth be told, I don’t know that much and I'm winging 80% of life right now, if you excuse the pun.

What exactly are black soldier flies (BSF)?

Put simply, the BSF converts everyday food waste into high quality protein that can be fed to chickens or pigs, your dog and cat, or possibly even you. Yuck!
